Fullstack Java Developer

Location: Bryanston

Salary: Market related
Duration: 12 month contract

Drive innovation on global-scale platforms using Java and Angular!

Is this you?

You’re a passionate developer who thrives in collaborative, Agile teams. You take ownership of your work, constantly seek better ways of doing things, and are excited by solving real-world problems. You bring a blend of technical expertise and creative thinking — and you’re as comfortable managing your time as you are writing clean, scalable code.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be developing scalable, web-based applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular, working across the full development lifecycle. From analysing requirements and designing features to implementation and deployment, your work will directly impact enterprise-level systems across diverse industries. You’ll build and optimise RESTful APIs, design responsive user interfaces, and engage in code reviews to ensure high standards. You’ll also contribute to database integration and performance, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and cloud deployments where needed — all while staying on top of emerging technologies.

Where you’ll be doing it

Our client is a global digital solutions provider with over 20 years of success in transforming industries like finance, healthcare, retail, and logistics. Known for meaningful work and high employee retention, they foster a culture of respect, innovation, and professional growth. You’ll be part of a supportive environment that values continuous learning and empowers you to make a real impact across borders.

What you’ll need

You bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development using Spring Boot, with solid skills in Hibernate. You also have 3+ years of frontend experience with Angular 10+, and a sound understanding of RESTful services and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL). Proficiency in Git, build tools, and unit testing is essential, along with familiarity with Agile/Scrum. Bonus points if you’ve worked with cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or NoSQL databases.

What you’ll get

You’ll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work setup, exposure to global projects, and a team that supports your growth – all while working with cutting-edge tools and technologies in a modern, forward-thinking environment.
