What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll design, implement, and manage scalable Azure cloud solutions, ensuring compliance, security, and optimal performance. Your day-to-day will include monitoring cloud environments, providing third-line support for complex issues, and streamlining processes through automation tools like PowerShell and Azure CLI. Collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams, you’ll handle system updates, disaster recovery plans, and the seamless integration of on-premise and cloud-based systems.

What you’ll need

You’ll need a degree in Information Systems or a related field, alongside 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure. A Microsoft Azure Certification is essential, along with expertise in managing cloud environments, including disaster recovery, backup solutions, and security protocols. Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Veeam is a must, as is experience with scripting and automation. Advanced knowledge of Office365 and on-prem operations will also stand you in good stead.
