Ready to build secure, cloud-native solutions in a collaborative digital team where your ideas truly matter?

Is this you?

You’re an enthusiastic and motivated web developer with at least a year’s experience working on production applications. You thrive in a fast-moving digital environment and enjoy collaborating with others to create meaningful solutions. You’re naturally curious, unafraid to ask questions, and able to see the bigger picture beyond just the code. Organised, detail-focused and a strong problem solver, you’re passionate about improving outcomes for clients and end users alike.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll work closely with developers and technical leads to define, build, test and deploy secure, maintainable software solutions for a diverse client base. From implementing reusable components and applying best-practice design patterns to debugging applications and cloud infrastructure, your role will be varied and hands-on. You’ll contribute to DevOps processes, writing automation scripts, supporting build and release pipelines, and creating infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Bicep. You’ll also participate in second-line support, maintain CI/CD environments, write automated tests, and share knowledge that improves how the wider team builds and delivers software.

Where you’ll be doing it

Our client is a forward-thinking digital consultancy based in modern offices in historic Leith. They deliver innovative web and cloud solutions to a varied portfolio of clients, combining technical excellence with a genuinely collaborative culture. The team prides itself on continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and creating secure, high-quality software that makes a real impact for end users.

What you’ll need

You’ll have at least one year’s experience as a web developer with strong C# and .NET skills. Experience with ASP.NET Core Web APIs, relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server, and ORMs like Entity Framework Core is essential. You should be familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps), cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and containerisation using Docker. Knowledge of RESTful API design, automated testing frameworks (NUnit or xUnit), and a secure-by-default mindset are key.

What you’ll get

You’ll join a supportive, technically strong team where you can grow your cloud and DevOps expertise while working on meaningful projects. You’ll gain exposure to modern tooling, collaborative project delivery and ongoing learning opportunities within a progressive digital environment.
