Is this you?

You’re a problem-solver with strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail. Customer focus is at the heart of everything you do, and you thrive under pressure. Your ability to influence decisions using data and analysis sets you apart. You’re agile, emotionally intelligent, and have a ‘can-do’ attitude. In short, you’re a self-starter ready to lead a high-performing team.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll oversee key operational functions, ensuring the smooth running of payment systems, fraud prevention, financial operations, and more. You’ll lead a talented team, create strategic plans, and drive efficiency across the board. Your role will involve shaping processes and policies, monitoring performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll also manage critical third-party relationships, handle compliance, and ensure 24/7 operational support.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll be part of a forward-thinking, dynamic fintech company that’s reshaping the payment industry in South Africa. This innovative organisation values its people and offers an inclusive environment that champions professional growth and collaboration. Expect a culture where creativity and agility are key, and where your contributions truly matter.

What you’ll need

A relevant degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field, with over 3 years of experience in payment operations or fintech. You should have a strong understanding of operational risk, payment systems, and data-driven decision-making. Experience leading agile teams and working in a cross-functional environment is essential, along with skills in process improvement and compliance.

What you’ll get

A competitive salary, 30 days of annual leave, medical aid benefits, remote work flexibility, a MacBook, and more. You’ll have the chance to work in a trendy office space with paid parking, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive and innovative team culture.
