Take ownership of end-to-end payroll for approximately 240 employees, ensuring every payroll cycle is accurate, compliant and delivered on time. You’ll maintain payroll records, reconcile data, prepare reports, support audits, resolve employee queries and work closely with HR, Finance and external service providers. Using payroll systems such as Sage, Payspace or VIP together with advanced Excel, you’ll help improve processes while ensuring compliance with PAYE, UIF, SDL and South African payroll legislation. A diploma or degree in HR, Finance or a related field, SAPA Payroll Practitioner certification and 2 to 4 years’ payroll administration experience. Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation, tax compliance, payroll reconciliations, HRIS systems, advanced Excel and payroll software such as Sage, Payspace or VIP is essential. Experience with audits or multi-country payroll will be advantageous.What you’ll get
