You’re a detail-driven integration specialist who thrives in complex, regulated environments. You take pride in building deterministic, auditable systems where financial accuracy is non-negotiable. Comfortable engaging with Finance, Data and Architecture teams, you combine strong technical depth with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. You enjoy untangling reconciliation issues, embedding controls into code, and delivering resilient, production-ready solutions in Agile environments.What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You’ll design and build secure, event-driven integrations between a sub-ledger, SAP S/4HANA General Ledger, a Data Mesh platform and a BPM engine. This includes developing Kafka-based publishing and consumption services, implementing reconciliation controls, validation and error handling, and ensuring full auditability of financial postings. You’ll support financial close processes, expose finance data securely for reporting, trigger and synchronise workflow processes, and embed governance, compliance and zero data-loss principles into every integration. You’ll also contribute to testing environments, resolve reconciliation breaks, and support controlled production deployments.Where you’ll be doing it

You bring 6+ years’ backend development experience in distributed systems, with at least 3 years building event-driven solutions using Kafka. You have solid experience integrating financial systems (banking, fintech or ERP), strong PostgreSQL skills, and a deep understanding of double-entry accounting, GL and sub-ledger lifecycles. You’re confident with REST/gRPC APIs, reconciliation-aware integrations, CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Flowable BPM and data mesh architectures will be highly advantageous.What you’ll get
