You’re a detail-oriented and experienced Server Engineer with a knack for keeping IT infrastructures secure, efficient, and future-proof. What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You’ll design, implement, and maintain robust server systems that support daily operations and long-term goals. You’ll handle everything from installing, configuring, and maintaining both physical and virtual servers, to performing regular updates, health checks, and troubleshooting. You’ll also manage server security, maintain compliance standards, and work closely with network and application teams to ensure smooth integration across systems. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring optimal system functionality and security.

What you’ll need
You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Certifications like Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, or VMware Certified Professional will set you apart. Proficiency in virtualization technologies, scripting languages (such as PowerShell and Python), and both Windows and Linux environments are essential. Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure is highly advantageous.
