“Is AI going to replace the recruiter?”

“Is AI going to replace the recruiter?”

This was one of the biggest questions asked at the recruitment conference I attended in the UK.

And the resounding response was NO but – the recruiter who doesn’t use AI will be replaced by the one that does.

AI is probably one of the biggest challenges that most businesses leaders are grappling with at the moment – where in your process do you implement it and where don’t you?

How do you see through the AI “noise”?

For us as recruiters it’s clear – we are in the business of people and relationships and AI can’t and won’t replace that but for any transaction recruiter here come problems.

We use it very successfully for the mundane repetitive admin tasks in our business that then frees us up to spend more quality time with our candidates and clients.

If you aren’t using AI in your business – why not? And if you are – are you using it successfully?

What I’ve learnt is that embracing AI doesn’t mean you need to become a tech wizard overnight, but understanding its capabilities and integrating basic tools into your workflow can significantly boost your competitive edge.

It’s time to get on board with AI—the livelihood of your organisation may depend on it.
